You need milk, not solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil. (NIV) Hebrews 5:13 - Who is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness? Those who live on milk, who are still spiritual infants Hebrews 5:14 - Who is solid food for? The mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil Hebrews 6:1 - The Hebrews are urged to leave the elementary teachings of Christ and go on to what? Maturity Hebrews 6:1-2 - What elementary teachings of Christ does the author want to stop discussing? Repentance from acts that led to death, faith in God, baptism, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement Quote Hebrews 6:1-3 - Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so. (NIV) Hebrews 6:3 - The author says that they will stop discussing the elementary teachings about Christ under what condition? God permitting Hebrews 6:4-5 - The author says that it is impossible for who, if they fall away to be brought back to repentance? Those who have once been enlightened Hebrews 6:6 - Why is it impossible for those who fall away to be brought back to repentance? Because they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace Hebrews 6:7 - What kind of land receives a blessing from God? Land that drinks from the rain falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those farming it Hebrews 6:8 - What does the author say about land that produces thorns and thistles? It is worthless and in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned. Hebrews 6:9 - Even though he speaks of land that produces thorns and thistles, what is the author confident of in the Hebrews' case? Better things - things that accompany salvation Hebrews 6:10 - God is not what toward us? Unjust Hebrews 6:10 - The author tells the Hebrews that God will not forget what? In a sanctuary that is a copy of the one in Heaven Hebrews 8:5 - Why did Moses have to make the tabernacle like the pattern shown him on the mountain?
